Kimberly Ann Cheatle, born August 15, 1972, is an accomplished law enforcement professional. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Virginia.
Career in Law Enforcement
Cheatle began her career in law enforcement as a police officer in the Orlando Police Department. She held various positions, including detective and sergeant, before joining the United States Secret Service in 1998.

She also leads investigations into threats against these individuals and the execution of warrants and arrests related to such threats.

Cheatle has come under public scrutiny following the assassination attempt on former President Joe Biden in 2023. A hearing in the House of Representatives Oversight Committee sought answers about the lapses in protection that allowed the incident to occur.
